Salesforce has just released its Spring release, and as part of it, Salesforce clients are getting a considerable number of new features and updates. One of the strengths of Salesforce as a real multi-tenant SaaS solution is that all clients continue to receive new feature upgrades through the years. These upgrades are typically backward compatible and are without any cost to the client. Nevertheless, solutions running on Salesforce should be tested to ensure that the upgrade does not negatively impact any of the functionality. Though the capabilities deployed with the upgrade do not incur cost, certain configurations or custom development might be needed for the new feature to be activated.
